Phew! What a crazy couple of months. Goodbye 2024!
I had a couple friends come to visit, which was really nice, but very hectic. Been super busy with life stuff and work as well, really looking forward to a slight break!
Canada Post went on strike, which lasted over a month. It's been really difficult and makes me appreciate how much harder it is for smaller businesses who don't have the resources and clout of big corporations like Amazon.
I didn't list anything new during this time as I kind of was struggling a bit with the logistics (I'm car-less!) of getting to the depot and not having a lettermail alternative for Canadians.
Thank you everyone who still placed an order and was so patient during this trying time! I've had so many amazing interactions with customers while running my store. That really surprised me because you hear a lot of horror stories, but I seem to be really lucky with lovely people who have all been super supportive and fun!
I'm looking forward to having a bit of time off during the holiday season to develop new products and start listing things again as things return to normal.
I picked up a bunch of these dot-tipped Maru Liner markers and they've been very useful to draw quick ideas with because the tips are nice and fat. The colours are mostly mild, so a few of them are good for shading.
In the New Year, look for more planner stickers-I'm working on some super minis for Hobonichi grids, and I also have a bunch of new designs I've been selling locally but just haven't listed with all the ongoing chaos.
